What I did:
I searched for inspirational images for the trend forecast and helped put together the moodboards.
I went through fabric sourcing to find the right fabrics for the collection, then helped the senior designer sketch the concepts. From there, I created the tech packs for the collection.
Once the samples arrived, I measured them and put it in a size spec.

MY FINAL EXAM
‘‘What started in 2019 as a shared love for fashion, storytelling, and effortless style, grew into our own brand. We are Val & Rose, best friends and founders of OU. For us, OU. is that place where women find items that make them feel confident, comfortable, and ready for their next story. Because a good story begins with a fantastic outfit.’’
I made a Fall/Winter collection themed as subverted officewear, for the brand OU. boutique

What I did:
I helped the senior designer build the trend forecast and moodboards. Together we handled fabric sourcing and garment design, and I created several tech packs for each theme in the collection.
I also helped with the clothing shoot and did some modeling myself.
CULTURECULTURE
I made moodboards based off the forecast for the prints and the knittings as inspiration for my collection.
What I did:
I researched inspirational books and sites and suggested print techniques.
I helped the senior designer with the fit of the garments, created several tech packs, and helped with the size specs.
SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT
YEAR 2
Using WGSN trends i created a moodboard, and chose ‘‘The new seaside’’ to inspire my mini-collection. I then wrote a concepttext to clarify the trend.
FINAL COLLECTION
THE NEW SEASIDE
COLLECTION “THE NEW SEASIDE
The concept focuses on sustainability and nature-positive choices, creating timeless garments that go beyond microtrends and fast fashion.
The collection is inspired by nautical coastal and vintage surf aesthetics, combining a retro feel with modern stripes. Embroidery features starfish, lobsters, waves, boats and surfboards.
Textures are inspired by fishing nets, ropes and knotting techniques, combined with rib, honeycomb and waffle structures in knitwear.
REWILDED X DIESEL
For the color and material choices, I continued the same research approach: a palette of blue tones, sand, and terracotta, combined with natural materials such as cotton, linen, and jersey.
FINAL RESULT
Using VIEW MAGAZINE trends i created a moodboard, and chose ‘‘Rewilded’’ to inspire my collection. I have also incorporated the color chart into the mood board.
For my inspiration board, I collected pictures of different garments and details that reflect the trend “Rewilded”. I use these images as inspiration for the shapes and details that I want to incorporate into this collection.
I made sketches of six complete outfits where I combined the trend “Rewilded” with the brand Diesel.
The assignment was, among the forecasting, to make one outfit in colour using Illustrator. And after that experiment with the colours and choose another outfit to technical draw in Illustrator and add techpacks.
